Requirements - Getting married in Jamaica:

•  A wedding in Jamaica requires the couple to be on the island for at least 48 hours prior (includes day of arrival, weekends and Holidays) to submitting an application for license. Couple must have proof of status, which is single, divorced, or widowed. In addition, they will need to have the notarized documents (indicated below) sent to Unique Vacations.
• Completed wedding information form from the hotel website
• Completed marriage application (provided at hotel)
• Couples 17 years of age and under require parental approval.
• Names on passport and birth certificate must match. This name will also be used as the maiden name on the wedding application.
• All foreign language documents must be legally translated to English and submitted with original language documents.
• Please send all original NOTARIZED (with the notary's original INK signature and stamp) copies of documents via courier service to: Unique Vacations, Inc. Attn: Wedding Department, 4950 SW 72nd Avenue, Miami, FL 33155 Phone: 305-284-1300 Fax: 305-668-2762, at least 60 days prior to arrival.
• Notarized copies of bride and groom's certified state-issued birth certificates

Other information:

• All ceremonies are performed by a non-denominational marriage officer. If a request is made for a specific religious affiliation, that will be confirmed based on the availability of that minister and the laws of the island. Each religious affiliation determines it's own fees for services provided.
• Additional fees apply for Catholic and Jewish weddings.
• A legal translator must translate all documents if in a foreign language to English. Both versions must be submitted.
• This package is valid with all promotions, and all the terms and conditions apply.
• Wedding packages are subject to change without notice.

• The Island Paradise wedding package is only available for up to 2 wedding guests plus the bride and groom.
• Couples must notify the Wedding Department of the number of guests attending the wedding at least 30 days prior to the arrival date.
