  To qualify, your hotel must be confirmed as part of the Romance program. Restrictions apply including:

• 3-night minimum stay
• Honeymoon couple must be married no longer than 1 month and present a copy of recent marriage certificate at time of check-in
• Services are valid per room per stay unless otherwise noted
• Services are subject to change or substitution based on availability at the discretion of the hotel
• No cash value for unused services

• To qualify for this complimentary wedding, 15 or more rooms (including the couple's room) must be booked for a minimum of 7 nights and must be purchased through the Romance program.
• Details on how to confirm the date, time, and location for your complimentary wedding will be provided to you by a Romance travel specialist after your reservation is confirmed with deposit or final payment.

• Only ceremonies performed by a Judge are legally binding and couples must fulfill the required government documentation prior to the wedding date. Please verify all requirements with the wedding coordinator of the hotel.
• Wedding ceremonies performed by a Minister are not legally binding and it is the couple's responsibility to get married legally in their home country pre/post travel.
• Weddings are not performed on Sundays
• Guests not staying at the Majestic Resort where the wedding is taking place may attend the wedding ceremony but will have to purchase a day pass at additional charge (restrictions apply).
• Further a la carte options such as decorations, music, and dinner are available through the wedding coordinator directly

• Civil ceremonies are not performed on Sundays

• Couples 17 years of age and under require parental approval
• Completed marriage application (provided at hotel)
• Valid passports
• Regular copies of passports
• Name, age, nationality, home address, occupation and passport of 2 witnesses.
• Certified copy of birth certificates with parents' names (translated into Spanish; must be certified by an official Judge at the Dominican Republic Consulate in the United States).
• Single declaration (Translated into Spanish. Must be certified by an official Judge at the Dominican Republic Consulate in the United States.)
• Divorced individuals must provide a notarized/certified copy of the divorce decree. If you are divorced more than once, a certified copy of each divorce decree is required. Please check with the hotel regarding additional requirements, as there is a waiting period to get married after a divorce.
• Widowed individuals must provide a notarized/certified copy of the former spouse's death certificate.
• The bride and groom must not be legally married in order to qualify for the civil ceremony. If already married, only a symbolic ceremony can be performed.
• If the bride or groom's nationality is Dominican, additional documents are needed.
• Names on passport and birth certificate must match.
• Documents will not be returned.
• Once the documents are certified by an official Judge at the Dominican Republic Consulate in the United States, they must be faxed to the wedding department at the hotel in order to guarantee they are correct and valid.
• When traveling to the Dominican Republic, all original and legalized translations must be brought with to the hotel.
