Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground is a deluxe Disney Home Resort that is set amid towering pines and pioneer cabins in the Magic Kingdom Resort Area of The Walt Disney World Resort. Guests get complimentary Disney Water Launch or Motorcoach Transportation and enjoy easy access to Disney's Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, Epcot and Disney's Magic Kingdom. It's the perfect setting to enjoy camping in the great outdoors with all the luxuries of a resort. Make yourself at home in a one-bedroom, air conditioned log cabin with a full kitchen, spacious living area and private deck. Enjoy a full service restaurant and tavern, a dinner theater, 2 pools, a marina on Bay Lake with beach access, a petting zoo, horseback riding and hay rides. For wilderness enthusiasts who want to combine theme park adventures with getting back to nature, let Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground make your next Disney Vacation one to remember.
This Lake Buena Vista resort includes 408 one-bedroom cabins and more than 784 campsites. Log cabins are set among towering pines and sleep up to six people each. All have wood-paneled walls, wood-beamed ceilings, gingham-style curtains, and outdoor decks with barbecue grills. Each cabin has one double bed and a set of bunk beds in the bedroom, and one Murphy bed in the living area. The living areas include TV/VCRs, dining room tables and chairs, and full kitchens with stoves, microwaves, refrigerators, coffeemakers, sinks, and dishes. Bathrooms have shower/tub combos and hair dryers. Daily housekeeping service is provided.
The campsites are blacktop and some can accommodate RVs of 10 x 60 feet plus one or two small tents. Preferred Campsite Full Hook-Ups include cable TV access. Some campsites are partial hook-up sites for tents, pop-up campers, or van campers only. Tents and carts are both available for rent.
All cabins have electricity and water, a full kitchen with cooking utensils, a dining table and chairs, living area and a private deck with a picnic table and charcoal grill. Each spacious cabin will sleep a party of 6 with 1 double bed, a set of bunk beds in the bedroom and a double Murphy bed in the living room.
